Technical Writing

In 2007, I earned a certificate in technical writing and editing from the University of Washington. Since then, I have edited and revised the Company Writing Style Guide for Premera, created a site for Weyerhaeuser employees 2008 health insurance open enrollment, and wrote the content for the Alaska Airlines Group health insurance Web site.

	Premera acquired the Alaska Airlines Group account in 2007. I designed the site architecture and wrote the content for the initial release in November of 2007.
	Weyerhaeuser rolled out new healthcare benefits in 2008. I wrote the content and designed the landing page to highlight the new features and link to more information.
	One of our writing assignments for the certificate program at the University of Washington was to write a proposal for revising an existing Web site. I chose the Seattle Public Library because I support the library system in general, and love the new Seattle Central Library in particular.
